The criteria for entrance into the G and T program are as follows:
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT)
SAGES Test for Middle School
The Scales for Identifying Gifted Students (SIGS) – Home
The Scales for Identifying Gifted Students (SIGS) – School
Grade Point Average (GPA)
Students must meet a minimum score of 70 on the G and T matrix for entrance into the program.
At the end of EACH YEAR students in the program will be re-evaluated. In order to STAY in the program, the students' GPA, Study Island scores and NJASK/state assessment scores must stay at or above their current level. Any drop that brings a student's matrix score below 70 may be cause for removal from the program.
